The Junction is excited to be launching the first Jump into Theatre Festival. The day will be packed with performances by young people, master classes with theatre companies and technicians as well as question & answer sessions with industry professionals.

Kid Carpet & The Noisy Animals follows the adventures of the charismatic singer and his animal band (made up of a gorilla, a bear, a hedgehog and a badger) as they make friends, play games, contemplate the world and finally rock out at a grand dance contest.
And with this year’s line-up featuring some of the biggest names on the British folk scene, they are set to sell out fast.
The festival is at the Ely Outdoor Centre, in Downham Road, from Friday, July 13, to Sunday, July 15.

There is an exciting public art project currently underway in Great Shelford, which will see artist blacksmiths create an entrance way to the recreation ground in Great Shelford. The design will be based on the classic children's book Tom’s Midnight Garden, by Philippa Pearce.
Fresh from an award winning sell out run at the Pleasance, Edinburgh, puppet innovators Blind Summit Theatre present their brand new show about a puppet stuck on a table. The Table is a visual feast of adult puppetry including a ballet of disembodied heads, a story told entirely with pieces of paper emerging from a briefcase, and a tiny puppet Moses with a cardboard head full of lonely wisdom.
