  • Are you half way through a novel and stuck?
  • Have you started a novel and lost momentum?
  • Have you a novel in a drawer you are longing to revive?

This course is for writers who have already begun novels - but need guidance and inspiration to finish a draft.

It will help you to:

  • Rediscover your original inspiration –what’s your story?
  • Move past the first few chapters – help you to set goals and develop a writing schedule to suit your life
  • Structure your book – break it into manageable parts
  • Find and hone your voice - who is telling your story and why?
  • Fine tune all aspects of your novel - dialogue, characterization, plot, pace, setting
  • Pitch your novel - enable you to encapsulate your novel for a blurb, to write a one-page synopsis for an agent and prepare a covering letter.

  • Monday mornings from 10.00 -1.00 for six weeks excluding bank holidays starting on 13th April 2015 (total of 18 hours)
  • At the Students union building next to the round church, Cambridge
  • The special introductory offer £299 (reduced from £350)
