Biography / Company Profile:

I am an artist, craft worker and creative workshop facilitator. As an artist, I enjoy exploring various ideas and media, but the majority of my work focuses on the shapes and structures found in nature, from the intricacy of leaf structures to the wider views of the landscapes around me. Most of my art is currently created using ink, water colour, print, and sometimes mixed media. As a craft worker, my focus is on up-cycling, using cloth and beads to create jewellery and all sorts of decorative items for the home. My recent creations have included: earrings and bracelets, all made with up-cycled beads as well as recycled 925 silver; sleepy bunnies (bedside friends filled with organic lavender); chunky little owl door stops; and decorations for Christmas and all year round. I have trained in Community Arts and Occupational Therapy, which helps me deliver art and craft workshops that are accessible to all. I have specialised in arts and crafts for health, and am experienced in running workshops for adults with mental health problems. Workshops activities include block, mono and relief printing, drawing, painting, collage, ceramics, textiles, bead work and creative journals.
